Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Packaging Design Specialist to join our team. The Packaging Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing packaging solutions for our products. This role involves working closely with the marketing, product development, and production teams to create innovative, functional, and visually appealing packaging that aligns with brand standards and meets customer expectations.
Create and develop packaging designs from initial concept through to final artwork, including brainstorming, sketching, and computer-generated designs.
Ensure all packaging designs align with the company`s brand identity, product positioning, and marketing strategies.
Research and select suitable materials and finishes that meet aesthetic, functional, and cost requirements.
Develop prototypes and mock-ups to demonstrate design concepts and ensure they meet all necessary requirements.
Work closely with product development, marketing, and production teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
Ensure packaging designs comply with relevant regulations, including sustainability and environmental guidelines.
Manage multiple packaging design projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor packaging designs, and new technologies to innovate and improve packaging solutions.
Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for production, ensuring accuracy and clarity for manufacturing partners.
Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to refine and enhance packaging designs.
