Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive tender documents and technical proposals for local and international events and exhibitions/trade shows

  • Develop and deliver compelling client pitches and presentations to secure new business opportunities

  • Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments for potential event venues

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines for client proposals

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure high retention rates

  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand evolving needs and gather feedback

  • Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts

  • Handle client queries, concerns, and escalations with professionalism and efficiency

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of events and exhibitions/trade shows from conception to completion

  • Coordinate with internal teams including creative, production, logistics, and operations

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for event services and supplies

  • Develop detailed event run sheets, timelines, and contingency plans

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards

  • Supervise on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown activities

  • Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising quality

 

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in the event management and exhibition/trade show industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large-scale events and exhibitions

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional client servicing and relationship management abilities

  • Strong tender preparation and proposal writing skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla

  • Outstanding project management and organizational capabilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • High attention to detail with excellent time management abilities

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams
