Responsibilities & Context:

A. Business Performance Analysis

  • Analyze overall business performance against approved sales, revenue, volume, profitability, and operational targets.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports for management.

  • Develop and monitor business KPIs for different functions, business units, products, territories, and sales channels.

  • Identify performance gaps, emerging trends, and key business risks and provide recommendations to management.

  • Conduct variance analysis between actual vs. budget, actual vs. target, and current vs. previous periods.

  • Track key performance indicators and highlight areas requiring immediate management attention.

B. Sales & Revenue Analytics

  • Analyze sales performance of concrete blocks and related construction products by product, customer, territory, project, dealer/distributor, and sales channel.

  • Monitor sales volume, revenue, average selling price, discounts, customer mix, and contribution margins.

  • Analyze sales pipeline, order booking, pending orders, delivery status, and customer conversion.

  • Identify high-performing and underperforming products, customers, territories, and sales personnel.

  • Support management in setting realistic sales targets based on historical performance, market demand, capacity, and business projections.

  • Prepare sales forecasting and demand projections for management review.

C. Product & Profitability Analysis

  • Analyze the profitability of different concrete block products, sizes, specifications, and product categories.

  • Evaluate selling price, production cost, raw material cost, logistics cost, overheads, and contribution margin.

  • Conduct product-wise and customer-wise profitability analysis.

  • Support management in evaluating pricing strategies and identifying opportunities for margin improvement.

  • Analyze the financial and commercial impact of discounts, promotional offers, credit terms, and pricing changes.

D. Production & Manufacturing Analytics

  • Analyze production capacity, utilization, output, downtime, rejection, wastage, and productivity.

  • Compare planned production with actual production and identify key reasons for deviations.

  • Monitor production efficiency and identify opportunities for improving capacity utilization and manufacturing productivity.

  • Analyze material consumption and production yield against established standards.

  • Work with Production and Factory teams to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvement initiatives.

E. Cost & Operational Analysis

  • Analyze major business costs including raw materials, energy, labor, transportation, packaging, maintenance, and other operating expenses.

  • Identify cost trends and opportunities for cost reduction without compromising product quality.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed operational and commercial initiatives.

  • Analyze transportation and distribution costs by customer, route, territory, and delivery volume.

  • Support management in evaluating the financial impact of operational improvement projects.

F. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct market research related to the concrete block, construction materials, real estate, infrastructure, and building products industries.

  • Monitor market demand, industry trends, construction activity, competitor pricing, product offerings, and market positioning.

  • Collect and analyze competitor information regarding price, product specifications, quality, distribution network, customer segments, and market practices.

  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, geographic markets, and potential business areas.

  • Prepare market intelligence reports and strategic recommendations for management.

G. Business Planning & Forecasting

  • Support preparation of annual business plans, budgets, sales forecasts, and strategic plans.

  • Develop business forecasts based on historical data, market trends, production capacity, customer demand, and management assumptions.

  • Conduct scenario analysis such as best case, base case, and worst case for major business decisions.

  • Support management in evaluating new products, markets, projects, investments, and business expansion opportunities.

  • Prepare business cases and financial/operational analysis for proposed initiatives.

H. Management Reporting & MIS

  • Develop and maintain accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards.

  • Prepare management dashboards covering sales, production, inventory, receivables, profitability, costs, and operational KPIs.

  • Automate recurring reports and reduce manual reporting through appropriate analytical tools.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and timely submission of reports.

  • Present key findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

I. Data Analytics & Dashboard Development

  • Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze data from multiple business functions.

  • Develop analytical models, dashboards, scorecards, and performance trackers using tools such as Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, ERP/MIS systems, or other relevant analytical platforms.

  • Establish standardized reporting formats and data definitions across departments.

  • Identify data quality issues and coordinate with relevant departments for correction.

  • Continuously improve business reporting and analytics capabilities.

J. Cross-Functional Business Support

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, Quality, HR, and Operations teams.

  • Translate business requirements into analytical reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide relevant business data and analysis.

  • Support process improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis.

  • Follow up on agreed management actions and monitor their business impact.

K. Strategic & Management Support

  • Provide analytical support to senior management for strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, business case analysis, ROI analysis, break-even analysis, and sensitivity analysis as required.

  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, productivity improvement, and process enhancement.

  • Prepare presentations and executive summaries for management meetings.

  • Perform special business analysis and management assignments as required.
