Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, develop, and implement data solutions to enable data-driven decision-making, integrity, security, and business growth
∎ Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of BI Engineers to develop and implement BI solutions that adhere to best practices and industry standards
∎ Design and develop end-to-end BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, visualizations, and reports that meet business requirements and enable data-driven decision making
∎ Implement data integration solutions, including ETL and Data Pipeline processes, to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake, ensuring data quality and integrity
∎ Optimize data retrieval, storage, and performance through data model and database schema design in the data warehouse or data lake to ensure consistency and accuracy
∎ Stay updated with the latest BI tools and technologies, evaluate and select appropriate tools, and implement and optimize BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools for data visualization and reporting
∎ Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, including database performance, ETL processes, and data visualizations to achieve optimal performance and response times
∎ Implement data governance practices, including data quality, data lineage, data security, and data privacy to comply with data regulations, protect sensitive data, and maintain data integrity
∎ Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including business stakeholders and IT teams, to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high- quality BI solutions
∎ Document BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, visualizations, and other technical artifacts, and share knowledge with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer
∎ Continuously evaluate and incorporate new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve BI solutions, processes, and methodologies, and drive innovation and optimization within the team
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 to 7 years of working experience in an IT department of a reputable organization
∎ Must have experience in data preparation and data warehousing project
∎ Proficient in working with various BI tools, including Power BI, Oracle BI, Tableau, Qlik etc.
∎ Proficient in using MS Office applications, especially Excel graphs and pivot tables
∎ Knowledge of creating database connections, objects, queries, and table relationships in Oracle, SQL server etc.
∎ Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python, R etc.
