  • Demonstrated experience in budget planning, financial analysis, and variance monitoring also hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose : We are looking for a dynamic Assistant General Manager, Affiliates Accounts & Investment, who will be responsible for driving robust financial management and compliance for BRAC`s affiliates and investments by preparing accurate financial statements, overseeing annual audits, and ensuring timely RJSC (Registrar of Joint Stock Companies) returns. Additionally, this position also supports monthly accounting for BLC, performs in-depth portfolio analysis, and prepares comprehensive reports and materials for high-level committee meetings, enabling informed strategic decisions across BRAC`s financial and investment functions. This role also involves supporting strategic financial analysis, preparing budget projections, and coordinating with international BRAC entities to harmonize financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial statements for BRAC Affiliates, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee and coordinate annual audits for all Affiliates, ensuring compliance and transparency in financial practices.

  • Manage all RJSC filings, certifications, and tax return submissions for BRAC Affiliates, maintaining regulatory alignment and timely submission.

  • Drive the preparation and execution of Annual General Meetings (AGMs) for all Affiliates, upholding strict adherence to regulatory frameworks.

  • Develop and present strategic financial insights for high-impact meetings, including the Finance & Audit Committee, Management Investment Committee, Governing Body, Enterprise meetings, and the Risk Management Committee, to support informed decision-making.

  • Provide monthly accounting and financial reporting support for BLCs.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, facilitating stakeholder communication, conducting budget reviews, and presenting for senior management approval.

  • Collaborate with BRAC USA, BRAC UK, and BRAC International to align transactions, streamline reporting, and support a unified global financial strategy.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to monitor performance, pinpoint variances, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for leadership.

  • Engage with internal and external auditors, addressing all audit queries, ensuring accuracy, and upholding compliance standards for seamless audit processes.

  • Actively manage team dynamics, including conflict resolution, absenteeism, and performance-related issues, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

  • Lead training needs assessments (TNA) and drive professional development programs for new and existing staff to enhance team capability and productivity.
