Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for Preparation of Companies Financial Statement (Monthly/ Quarterly/ Annually).
∎ Responsible for Preparation of Various Types of Balance Sheet i.e. Trading, Manufacturing,
∎ Expert in using and maintaining all Accounting Entries in ERP Software.
∎ To Monitor the Tax/ Vat related matters and maintain liaison with concerned Authorities and ensure compliance with the Laws and Submission of return.
∎ To provide various Statement/ Reports as per the Requirement of the Management.
∎ To perform LC Opening Activities and Payment follow-up.
∎ To maintain and follow-up Bank Account Transaction & Reconciliation timely.
∎ To Check and Verify of all Vouchers i.e. Debit, Credit, Journals & Contra.
∎ To maintain and follow-up Loan related matters/ transaction (Bank/ Financial Institution)
∎ We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager to help the management in directing daily business operations. The assistant general manager should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.

∎ Peoples Ceramic Industries Ltd. pioneered the manufacturing of porcelain tableware’s in Bangladesh in 1962. The company was established by late Mr Ansar Uddin Ahmed,a Civil Engineer with a view to improving the lives of ordinary people who could not afford to eat off a ceramic plate. European Style tableware’s were chosen for fabrication as they were popular at home & that would create an opportunity to export in due course; PCI tableware’s were welcomed in Holland & United Kingdom in 1981. In the initial years, along with basic house wares items, Tea Cups & Saucers suitable for restaurant use were also fabricated. Marketing the quantity produced posed a big problem & thereafter Late Mr Ahmed opened doors to market them in Pakistan competing against 2 factories there. It was an instant success owing to Hard Grade porcelain products of PCI. Later Institutional products were also added to cater the Hotels and Restaurants. The company always focused on adopting Appropriate Technology and sourcing quality raw materials (from around the world) to keep product cost at a minimum; also machinery and equipments were constantly upgraded to maintain competitive edge. In 2009 company initiated decal printing starting with “Logo” and by 2012 had a full fledged automatic decal printing facility. Peoples Ceramic followed the vision of its founder at every step to provide good quality products to its customers, create a better future for themselves and the nation.
