Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or Accounting

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Hotel

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that the guests have best possible experience by trouble-shooting and resolving all billing-related disputes.
∎ Prepare monthly and annual financial statements including Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. Include analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget.
∎ Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
∎ Manage all phases of Accounts Payable, Receivable and department budget.
∎ Calculate and distribute wages and salaries.
∎ Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities.
∎ Ensure all types of project related Treasury Function in timely manner i.e. fund flow, monitor cash management, timely adjustment of advances and handle all the foreign remittance of projects such as fund receipts & disburses and also prepare the acknowledgement.
∎ Verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to management.
∎ Reviewing all ledger details guest ledger, city ledger and deposit ledgers to validate proper payment and revenue posting.
∎ Bills A/R accounts daily and send the same to guest along with the supporting bills and statements.
∎ Ensure the timely reporting and payment of all taxes including Floor VAT, Sales VAT and other taxes. To prepare various monthly analytical reports.
∎ Enters invoices into accounts payable system weekly after verifying a purchase order was received from ordering department head and obtaining General Manager's approval.
∎ Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow.
∎ Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
∎ Maintain banking relationships and negotiating loans and merchant services for business units.
∎ Ensure the preparation/process of daily/monthly payments to the staff members and vendors and ensure that all procedures for finance and accounts in regard to cash and bank management, adjustment and disbursements are correctly followed.
∎ Working with executives and business heads to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performance by business unit.
∎ Providing direction and training to hotel operational team in areas related to finance, financial reports, internal controls, labour management, payroll, etc.
∎ Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities.
∎ Carry out any other activities assigned to him/her by the management on timely basis.
