Job Context:
∎ Executive Chef-Indian Bistro for Farzi Café-Dhaka (Only Indian Bistro Chef is applicable for this post
∎ We are looking dynamic people for an International (Indian Chain) Restaurant in Food & Beverage Production, Cold/Pantry, Curry, Tandoor, Halwai (Indian Dessert) and the positions ranging from Executive Chef / Sr. Sous Chef for farzi café.
∎ We are looking for experienced and professionals to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
∎ Oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients
∎ Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance, Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
∎ Hires and trains new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards.
∎ Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimizes waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns.
∎ Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards.
∎ Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities.
∎ Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed.
∎ Assists others chef with menu creation, Coordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing.
∎ Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant.
∎ Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
∎ Coordinates daily tasks with the F&B Manager and Responsible to supervise junior chefs or commis.
∎ Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
∎ Preparation and cooking of food and Assisting in all areas of the kitchen for lunch and dinner.
∎ Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy and Maintaining Health & Safety standards.
∎ Providing customer service to staff and customers.
∎ Preparing Vegetables and Meats, Assisting with Stock Rotation and Training and Learning.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be a team player and able to work under pressure and in complex situation.
∎ Should be friendly and team player.
∎ Only authentic Indian Bistro experience person eligible for this position.
