∎ Familiarity with data collection methods and tools.
∎ Experience in publishing articles in platforms such as peer-reviewed journals, newspapers, or blogs in English is essential. Candidates must provide published writing samples in English during the interview.
∎ Strong analytical and organizational skills.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office suit and data analysis software including Power BI, SPSS, Stata, and Excel
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
∎ Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
∎ Knowledge of program management and reporting requirements.
∎ Knowledge on MEAL framework
∎ Understanding of sector-specific issues (e.g., health, education, economic development).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Data Collection and Management:
∎ • Assist in designing and implementing data collection tools and methodologies.
∎ • Conduct field visits to gather qualitative data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
∎ Monitoring and Reporting:
∎ • Support the MRM team lead in developing monitoring plans and frameworks.
∎ • Prepare regular reports on program performance, challenges, and outcomes.
∎ • Analyze monitoring data to provide insights for program improvement.
∎ Capacity Building:
∎ • Assist in training program staff on MRM processes and tools.
∎ • Develop and disseminate learning materials related to MRM practices.
∎ Collaboration:
∎ • Work closely with program teams to ensure alignment of MRM activities with program objectives.
∎ • Engage with external stakeholders, including partners and donors, as needed.
