Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Social Science, Gender studies, GBV Studies and relevant discipline. Educational qualifications will be considered flexible for more experienced or last year project experience persons.

Job Context:
∎ Project aims to meet the immediate and long-term protection and nutrition needs through targeted skill-based training for women and gender-based violence awareness activities for men and women in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The hereby proposed project intervention aims to:
∎ 1. Decreased human suffering associated with natural or human induced disaster.
∎ 2. Rohingya communities are accessing safe places and networks for learning and support.
∎ 3. Male Rohingya change agents are advocating reducing Gender Based Violence and Child Marriage.
∎ 4. Improved nutrition in Rohingya households.
∎ The purpose of the position is to implement the GBV and Child Protection intervention of the project smoothly. The Assistant Project Officer- GBV and Protection will support the project team, Community Facilitator, GBV- Mencare group, Child Forum Committee, Skill Trainer and Volunteer. The FA-GBV&P will build up a strong relationship with Government bodies (CIC Personnel) and other stakeholders like Site management, GBV & Protection, Health, Nutrition, Education sector and other related NGO /INGO. Regular donor communication and report writing.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to develop detail implementation plan for (CLC) Community Learning Center activities.
∎ Coordinate and supervise with Skill Trainer, Community Facilitators & volunteers and any other community engagement.
∎ Ensure monthly CLC Management Committee meeting and capacities the CLC committee member, CF, Volunteer and Security guard/Watchman.
∎ Mobilize and sensitize the community people and project beneficiaries on program activities regularly for ensuring accuracy and accountability.
∎ Assist to update beneficiary in time if needed for relocate or any replace issues and regular communication with CIC personnel and visit CIC office and keep collaboration with related sector.
∎ Build up good relationship with CIC office and CIC personnel and work with collaboration of GBV and Protection sector.

∎ Ensure different session of GBV- Men care, Child Protection on Child Right, Men care Graduation program etc.
∎ Build up capacity of the Skill Trainer and regular follow-up training activities and ensured all support ant facilities.
∎ Conduct different awareness session like DRR, Nutrition and IYCF, Hand Wash and Prevention COVID-19.
∎ Ensure that beneficiaries are well aware about accountability and community feedback system.
∎ Attend CLC Committee meeting and guide them and organize session, orientation, meeting.
∎ Assist to prepare daily monthly and quarterly report with accuracy and assist the supervisor for documentation of success/impact stories, case study etc.
∎ A yearly budget, detailed implementation plan (DIP), and operational guidelines are in place, that will reflect the FA’s responsibilities.
∎ Accomplishment 100% annual plan of the program in the assigned working filed.
∎ Implement the targeted activities for the assigned CLC
∎ Provide all support for CLC intervention like GBV- Men care, Child Forum, Skill Training for Adolescent, Nutrition and DRR Session.
∎ Conduct beneficiary selection and need assessment for CLC activities.
∎ Support to organize trainings, orientations and session to CF and Project participants.
∎ Support to organize training, meeting and session for and establish Child forum in CLC
∎ Support to form Men care group and conduct Men care session.
∎ Support to organize graduation program.
∎ Support to Skill Trainer to organize training for adolescent and ensure support.
∎ Support to report writing and information dissemination.
∎ Support to get CIC approvals like need assessment, distribution plan, completion report etc.
∎ Ensure the participation of camp coordination meeting and sectorial meeting.
∎ Regular communication with CIC personnel and update shearing.
∎ Good Relation build up with sectorial team and other relevant NGO/INGO.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 32 years
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation.
∎ Ability to work in different target groups.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Minimum 2 - 3 years proven experience in Field Assistant/ Assistant Project Officer in INGO in Livelihood Program aligned with GBV, DRR and Nutrition intervention.
∎ Partners support working experience.
∎ People management experience.
∎ Able to create a working environment where team members have equal rights to listen, speak up and contribute to achieve a common goal of the project.
∎ Must live in the project working area and 100% fieldwork is expected. Ready to accept the challenges and cope with the changes.
