Job Responsibilities

  • Performing routine maintenance and calibrating biomedical equipment.

  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning of equipment.

  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.

  • Assisting in the installation and setup of new medical equipment.

  • Ensuring that equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

  • Providing technical support and training to healthcare staff on the use of medical equipment.

  • Addressing user concerns and resolving issues related to equipment functionality.

  • Ensuring that equipment complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.

  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Preparing and submitting reports on equipment performance and any issues encountered.

  • Working closely with other engineers, healthcare professionals, and vendors to address equipment-related needs.

  • Communicating effectively with team members and providing updates on project progress and equipment status.

  • Assisting in testing and evaluating new products and technologies.

  •  Conducting tests and inspections to ensure the quality and performance of biomedical equipment.

  • Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance equipment reliability and functionality.

  • Managing the inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repair.

  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary components.
