Responsibilities & Context:
Proficiency in suturing, dressing, and IV line maintenance is a must.
Ability to deal with patients calmly and professionally.
Willingness to work in Rotational Shifts (Day/Night) and handle emergency pressure.
Is to maintain a sterile environment for the patient and surgical team before, during and after surgery.
Is to prepare the patient for operation by washing, shaving and disinfecting incision area.
Is to pass surgical instruments to the surgeons including cut sutures, apply dressing and prepare specimens for the next procedure.
After surgery the assistant transport the patient to the recovery room and clean the operation room for the next procedure.
Any other job assigned by the in-Charge.
