Experience & Knowledge:
Proven work experience as a Hospital Administration Manager, Medical Office Manager, or similar role for at least 5 years of relevant experience.
(Experience in public health, especially I/NGO and Community Clinic management and operation is encouraged).
Knowledge of ultrasound and related image testing and report writing would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of medical terminology and the hospital industry.
Solid understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations
Familiarity with medical transcription
Expertise in thorough diagnosis and analysis techniques
Must have the ability to identify complex problems andbe able to prescribe the basic treatment.
Must have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to be an effective and credible voice internally and externally when presenting findings.
Solution-driven, smart, approachable, and possesses the ability to work with people from different backgrounds.Must have the skill of multitasking.

Job Context: Hospital Managers/Project Medical Officers are highly capable incumbents who should exhibit extensive clinical knowledge and demonstrable experience in a similar managerial role. An accomplished Project/Medical Officer will be someone who can align their medical expertise with best practices in health administration. In this role, his/her duties will include serving as a clinical advisor, overseeing clinical trials, and maintaining high standards of inpatient and outpatient care. S/he would oversee daily operations, serve as clinical advisor, and investigate any problems that may arise and may also contribute to medical research programs and supervise clinical trials. S/he would also work closely with the nursing team to provide clinical guidance, assist with education and support. Patients should feel that they have been dealt with in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
Key Accountabilities:
I. Looking after patients’ well-being
Visit the wards and cabins with the clinical team and provide feedback to the full team for further improvement.
Assure patient getting quality service in all steps of service.
To ensure record keeping- clinical and non-clinical, e.g. history taking, diagnosis investigations, and so on.
Follow up and treat patients immediately as necessities arise.
Follow up with consultant visit, service/facility, death register, death certificate, and discharge summary.
Not to leave anything undone – this may harm the patient/income of the hospital.
Regular disease profile maintenance.
II. Training and mentoring the hospital staff
Train staff about mission, vision & values, manuals, and on other policies.
Train on the discipline of the hospital area.
Train staff about primary health care services.
III. Communication and coordination
Accountable to Head of Programmes.
Not adopting any rule or regulation or steps which may hamper the slogan of Muslim Aid-“Serving Humanity”.
Responsible for enhancing income and actively working on reducing the expenses incurred in different areas of the hospital.
Always take the necessary steps to make the project suitable, maintain HAP standards, and ensure community participation.
Remain vigilant for promotion and marketing.
Eligible to do general operations and relevant activities.
IV. Ensure effective and efficient Project Management:
Establish and maintain necessary rapport, communication, and networking with governmental and non-governmental health agencies.
Lead MACH in accordance with policies and guidelines of local govt. health agencies, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Muslim Aid-UK Bangladesh Country Office Bangladesh.
Ensure all procurements take place on time, maintaining MABFO policies and guidelines and ensuring transparency, cost-effectiveness, and highest quality.
Organize timely meetings of the Management Committee and other critical meetings and ensure follow-up of decisions.
Develop strategies and mechanisms for aligning MACH, its business processes, and services with technological advancements of markets both at home and abroad.
Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to gender, diversity, and inclusion.
Prepare necessary reports proposals, business plans, concept notes, progress reports, etc., and submit them to the concern management.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
V. Leadership and Management
Provide regular one-on-ones to the relevant employees, ensuring that you adhere to MA’s annual appraisal “PACE” framework.
Ensuring that relevant employees are set with annual SMART objectives and making sure that you are aware of your SMART objectives from your line manager.
VI. Other
Ensure all records are maintained and stored appropriately in line with MA document management and IT policies.
To comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.
