Job Context:
∎ The GRAUS (Gram Unnayon Sangathon) - Organization for Rural Socio-economic Development - began its journey in 1998 with it`s headquarter in Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS is a non-profit and non-political socio-economic development organization committed to the development of the CHT region through eco-friendly measures for the sustainability of the local environment.
∎ Since 2018 WorldFish is implementing "Feed the Future Bangladesh Aquaculture and Nutrition Activity (BANA)`` Project Funded by USAID. This is under the United States Government`s global hunger and food security initiative, Feed the Future, and has the goal of achieving inclusive aquaculture sector growth through a market systems approach in the Feed the Future Zone of Influence (ZOI) and Resilience Focus Area (RFA).
∎ Under this BANA activities GRAUS in partnership with WorldFish is going to implement "Promoting Aquaculture for Nutrition and Income in Bandarban (PANI)" Project in Bandarban Sadar and Rowangchari Upazila of Bandarban Hill District. Applications are hereby invited to fulfill the following positions for GRAUS-PANI Project:
∎ Project: PANI
∎ Base Office: Bandarban
∎ Work Place: Bandarban Sadar and Rowangchari Upazila
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 5 years experience of working in a leadership position of a development project related to fishery / nutrition in any NGOs.
∎ Skills & Knowledge: The candidate must have knowledge in nutrition and aquaculture and the skills of preparing report, date line maintaining, team integrity, communication skills in English (listening, writing and speaking). Good typing skill in English and Bangla, Advance use of MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point. Working experience with CHT local communities will be considered as suitability of the candidature.
