Job Context:
∎ A well-reputed group of Companies engaged in Software development & ITS services in Bangladesh.
∎ We are looking for experienced Accounting Professional who have necessary working experience in Inventory and Accounting (or, any ERP) Software Application development. We shall be looking for primary assistance & guidance from the selected Applicant to guide the company to develop software application in the field of Inventory & Sales Management, Asset Management, VAT calculation etc. After completion of this assignment (project), he may be absorbed as a regular Accountant of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. As an Application Specialist:
∎ Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the business requirements and design elements contained in a system specification;
∎ Follow accounting rules and procedures to develop application software;
∎ Analyze software requirements, define solution parameters and specifications;
∎ Negotiate and manage functional scope to reduce business and technical risks;
∎ Conduct formal meeting with the clients (in the target sector) to gather requirements, displaying knowledge of the business environment in defining the customer's need;
∎ Collect customer feedback of using application software, make summary of the findings and initiate implementation/ update procedure with software developer team;
∎ Lead the function design process;
∎ Develop high-quality presentations to explain business processes (AS-IS and TO-BE);
∎ Develop process diagrams for finance, accounting and auditing processes using industry standard tools;
∎ Assist software developers with the creation of detailed software design specifications;
∎ Develop test cases and test manuals;
∎ Apply professional mastery and industry-wide understanding of technology, tools and methodologies to develop solutions.
∎ B. As an Accountant:
∎ After successful development of the said software application, you will be absorbed as a regular staff in Accounts & Finance department of the company. Your job responsibility will be the followings -
∎ Prepare accounting vouchers and posting it to the accounting software;
∎ Prepare and send customer invoice timely and follow-up of customer for collection proceeds;
∎ Maintain all financial records and books of accounts;
∎ Maintain cash & bank book, general ledger book, party ledger book, and other relevant registers. Prepare monthly, weekly, daily report/ statement;
∎ Preparation of financial statements and necessary reports (monthly / quarterly) as required by the management;
∎ Prepare the bank reconciliation statement;
∎ Update & maintain VAT & Tax related entries and present the company to the VAT & Tax departments, as and when required;
∎ Perform HR & Administrative work;
∎ Maintain sense of discipline and punctuality;
∎ Perform any other job as decided by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-5 years of work Experience in at least one (01) Accounting/Inventory ERP software application viz. Tally or any other ERP application (software application) is mandatory.
∎ Hand-on experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), JIRA (Project Management Tool), Figma (UI/UX Design Tool) will get preference;
∎ Good interpersonal, communication and convincing skill;
∎ Sound Accounting knowledge;
∎ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Email, Power Point, Photoshop and social media tools;
∎ Must be Enthusiastic, Pro-active, Punctual, Honest and Hard-working;
∎ Writing skill especially in English will be an added advantage.
Salary:
∎ Monthly salary range is Tk. 25,000 to Tk. 30,000 depending on experience; however, salary package is negotiable for highly deserving candidate;
