∎ In the Government and Public Sector practice, we also work closely with the multilateral agencies like Asian Development Bank, United Nations Agencies, and the World Bank on their technical assistance programmes for the government agencies. Job Responsibilities:
∎ The major work shall include but not be limited to:
∎ Review of the procurement process and outcomes in light of the applicable guidelines.
∎ Capacity Assessments of stakeholders: Assessment in the areas of procurement and supply management including quantification, budgeting system, fund management, procurement processes, achieving value for money, documentation, etc.
∎ Supply chain, distribution, particularly in the health sector / pharmaceutical items, and related management reporting reviews.
∎ Review adequacy of internal control system in light of procurement and financial management systems at organizations.
∎ Conduct periodic performance review of in country supply chain.
∎ Support the team in other functions (programmatic and financials) as per requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with procurement and/or supply chain. Candidates with higher experience are also encouraged to apply.
∎ Experience in development sector, government program / projects, pharmaceuticals industry etc.
∎ The work would be solely/ primarily in the not-for-profit sector/ development sector, hence, the candidate with experience in this sector will be preferred.
∎ Experience in the area of procurement and supply chain in the development sector and / or health product management.
∎ Experience in consulting field would be an added advantage
∎ Candidate should have passion for client work and ability to carry out different types of assignments
∎ Ability to plan and execute assignments independently
∎ Ability to understand the client’s business
∎ Ability to work under deadlines and pressure situations
∎ Multi-tasking abilities
∎ Problem solving skills and a solution-oriented approach
