Responsibilities & Context:
Review and interpret approved engineering alignment drawings, cross-sections, and Right-of-Way (ROW) requirements.
Georeference and adjust mouza maps using AutoCAD and GIS software.
Digitize affected plots, structures, and other assets for Land Acquisition Plan (LAP) preparation.
Identify full and partial plot acquisition; distinguish private, government, and khas land.
Develop and maintain a geo-referenced GIS database of all impacted plots and structures.
Prepare Plot Schedule (Daag-Shuchi), Cha-Form, and other statutory land acquisition documents for submission.
Produce alignment strip maps, impact maps, cross-section and long-section (plan/profile) drawings from topographic survey data.
Draft cartographic drawings and mapping annexures for inclusion in LAP.
Support field verification and Joint Verification (JV) exercises with DC office and project teams.
Supervise and assist field teams during surveys and verification activities.
Reconcile discrepancies between field survey data, cadastral maps, and engineering designs.
Perform data collection, processing, and spatial analysis using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS/QGIS, and other relevant software.
Update maps and calculations in response to alignment or design revisions.
Ensure quality control and accuracy of all spatial data, maps, and land calculations.
Maintain organized digital archives of all survey outputs, maps, and GIS databases.
Liaise and coordinate with clients, government officials, and stakeholders as required.
Provide technical clarification and support during objection hearings and DC office reviews.
