Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The work would be solely/ primarily in the not-for-profit sector/ development sector, hence, the candidate should have experience in diverse engagements in this sector. The person would be required to lead the team and carry out assignments independently. He/she would also be required to carry out business development activities such as identifying business opportunities and working on proposals.
∎ The major work shall include but not be limited to:
∎ Audits- including internal audits and special purpose audits Capacity Assessments - Assessment in the areas of financial management including budgeting system, fund flow mechanism, cash management, fixed assets, accounting procedures, value for money, auditing mechanism etc.
∎ Financial management reviews Expenditure verification at grant recipient organizations.
∎ Review adequacy of financial management systems at grant recipient organizations Review of procurement processes and transactions to ensure compliance with procurement guidelines
∎ Supervise and review the work of the other team members
