Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Master of Agriculture Science with 4 years of work experience in total.
∎ Minimum of 3 years of experience on homestead gardening, agriculture, and livelihood projects.
∎ Able to plan, organize, implement, and monitor project activities.
∎ Work experience in beneficiary selection, input distribution and training delivery and validation.
∎ Experience in reporting as per donor requirements.
∎ Strong team player who communicates and shares with other team members ·
∎ Punctual and good at time management and strong relationship building skill.
∎ Profecient language in Bangla, English & Chittagong.
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Agriculture Officer (HG) will be responsible for quality implementation of Homestead gardening project.
∎ Day to day supervision and monitoring of homestead gardening project.
∎ Ensure and facilitate capacity development of staff and beneficiaries.
∎ Supervise project teams in arranging training sessions for the Rohingya beneficiaries in homestead gardening.
∎ Supervise project teams in ensuring that all data on are kept up to date.
∎ Supervise project team to provide inputs timely.
∎ Provide day-to-day management support and handle the challenges.
∎ Formulate activity plan and budget.
∎ Monitor & evaluate the progress and take corrective measures.
∎ Keep team members updated and adapt with new changes.
∎ Staff supervision and development, identify appropriate staff development activities and initiate/arrange implementation of those.
∎ Create a congenial/friendly working environment for all staff members and learn culture.
∎ Facilitate workshops, training and meetings with various stakeholders.Concepts & Strategies development:
∎ Set the priorities and guidance for the project team.
∎ Facilitate participatory project implementation process and orient staff members accordingly.  Supervise and Management:
∎ Set the priorities and guidance for the project team.
∎ Facilitate participatory project implementation process and orient staff members accordingly.Integrity:
∎ Maintain the Code of Conduct and all other policies and procedures of the organization.
∎ Ensure integrity policy of both donor and Cordaid.
∎ Follow and ensure the safety security policy.Monitoring, documentation and reporting:
∎ Regular monitoring of project progress and performance through frequent field visits.
∎ Coaching and providing advice to field staff in use of M&E data in their day-to-day management decisions in the field.
∎ Ensure that copies of important communications, documents and reports are filed and stored and circulated appropriately.
∎ Ensure proper and quality documentation of organizational achievements, lessons learnt and important events.  Capacity Building:
∎ Provide technical support to staff members through coaching, mentoring, feedback etc).
∎ Ensure enabling work environment.
∎ Enhance team bondage and team spirit
