• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with 7 to 10 years working experience in reputed industry.

• The candidate should have capacity for trouble shooting of any electrical issues and problem-solving capacity of the factory.        

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.       

• Sound knowledge with MS-Word, Microsoft Excel & Internet Browsing.

Job Context

Ahmed Group, a reputed leading figure in the textile industry of Bangladesh is looking for experienced professional for the position of AGM/Manager (Electrical).

Job Responsibilities        

• Identify areas of unnecessary or excessive power consumption within the factory.        

• Propose and implement measures to reduce energy usage without compromising production efficiency.      

• Evaluate and optimize load distribution and implement efficient load management systems.        

• Ensure maximum utilization of inverters, energy-saving lighting, and fan systems where feasible.        

• Monitor and analyze electrical energy data to develop action plans for consumption reduction.        

• Prepare reports on power usage trends, savings achieved, and future opportunities for energy optimization.       

• Establish a real-time monitoring system for measuring operational efficiency.      

• Provide technical leadership for energy-saving and utility management.      

• Conduct feasibility studies for introducing energy-efficient technologies and machinery.        

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support sustainable manufacturing initiatives.        

• Prepare detailed reports daily/weekly/monthly on power consumption and compressed air system improvements.        

• Lead training sessions to build awareness among relevant staff regarding energy-saving practices and efficient equipment usage.       

• Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team to ensure goal alignment and task completion.        

• Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
