Responsibilities & Context:

Akij Flour Mills Ltd. (AFML) is a leading flour mill in Bangladesh, providing high-quality flour products to customers since its inception in 2016. In addition to producing Atta, Maida, and Suji, AFML also supplies other related products such as wheat bran, aromatic rice, puff rice, mustard oil, red lentil and so on. The company has quickly gained a positive reputation across the country with its brand SUNSHINE, which is known for its high-quality products made from the finest quality wheat that AFML sources using its experienced quality assurance team.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “AGM/DGM, Bulk Sales (Atta, Maida, Suji)”.

The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic bulk sales plans for Atta, Maida, and Suji to achieve sales and revenue targets.

  • Identify and expand business opportunities with bulk buyers, institutions, distributors, and corporate clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and channel partners.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to recommend effective business strategies.

  • Lead and motivate the bulk sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and sales agreements with bulk customers ensuring profitability.

  • Ensure effective sales forecasting, demand planning, and timely product delivery.

  • Conduct periodic performance reviews, prepare sales reports, and present insights to senior management.

  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of bulk sales operations.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
