Education:
∎ Masters, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in any discipline
∎ Master’s in Accounting/Finance or MBA in Finance.
∎ CA/ACCA/CMA (partly or fully qualified) will be preferred.

Additional Requirements:
∎ • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh tax, VAT, customs and banking regulations.
∎ • High proficiency in MS Excel, reporting and analytical tools.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts department.
∎ Prepare monthly provision accounts and management accounts for each and every quarter with accuracy.
∎ Review financial statements, budgeting, costing forecasting, monthly & quarterly closing statement.
∎ Handle all corporate banking operations including LC, EDF & fund transfers.
∎ Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
∎ Oversee cash flow, liquidity management & treasury functions.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate VAT & tax return submissions.
∎ Maintain liaison with NBR for tax audits, assessments & compliance issues.
∎ Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and apply them effectively.
∎ Analyze product costing, variance reporting & cost control strategies.
∎ Prepare annual budgets and monitor departmental expenditures.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external auditors for year-end audits.
∎ Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory & internal audit standards.
