Job Responsibilities:
∎ Over all in-charge for Operations Team
∎ Report quality of vendors performance and issue non compliance
∎ Handle discrepancies between transport invoices and work orders for rates not uploaded in the contract
∎ Monitor import pendency at ports and provide alternate solutions to mitigate/eliminate delays and ensure all additional costs are recovered
∎ Monitor carrier-haulage by road shipments for timely connections
∎ Vendor Management for port, rail, road, depot, activities and negotiations with vendors on price and face-face meetings etc
∎ Constant review of vendor capabilities and obtaining market intelligence about vendors operating with other lines and drive to save costs and verifiable measures to monitor savings
∎ Case studies covering diversion of cargo to other gate-ways for better efficiencies, faster connections, synergies, cost-advantage and competitive edge
∎ Liaison with government authorities, Port operators, customs, regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with legal, statutory regulations
∎ Monitor Planning and Steering of equipment
∎ Discuss equipment issue
∎ Travel basis business requirements
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Enthusiasm and team spirit.
∎ Cost consciousness
∎ Good knowledge of Port and vessel operations
∎ Good command of written and spoken English
Salary: Tk. 100000 - 120000 (Monthly)
