∎ The Program Manager will work across project technical teams to support project interventions with a focus on increasing adolescent and youth access to Sexual and Reproductive Health with a focus on Adolescent Behavior Health Management.
∎ The position is assigned to Pathfinder`s Accelerating Universal Access to Family Planning (AUAFP) project in Bangladesh. AUAFP is a five year multi-million dollar project funded by USAID. The project aims to strengthen and expand access to quality family planning services through a collaborative health system capacity building partnership with the government of Bangladesh, specifically through a flexible implementation model led in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, including the National Institute of Population Research and Training, the Directorate General of Family Planning, and the Directorate General of Health Services. The project provides adaptive, needs driven technical assistance at national, divisional, district, and upazila levels to the MOHFW in 4 Divisions: Chattogram, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Leadership: Provides strategic technical leadership and expertise to project on the implementation of high quality Adolescent Behavioral Change interventions.
∎ Programming Design, Planning and Implementation: Provides programmatic leadership in country project(s). Specifically, collaborate on the urban health activities - including with RMG factories building on the (re)solve project interventions, work on the project's digital health and SBCC activities to promote greater capacity of service providers to reach youth and collaborate with the MEL team on implementation of science and learning.
∎ Program Management: Coordinates assigned activities with implementing staff and partners.
∎ Technical Assistance: Provides technical assistance as needed to GOB counterparts, project technical teams, and stakeholders. Participates in the design and implementation of digital solutions, SBCC interventions, and urban health interventions.
∎ Reporting: Ensures timely, accurate and appropriate monitoring, documentation, and reporting on assigned activities and results to the AY Specialist.
∎ Networking and Branding: Actively participates in internal and external project communications. Participates in the documentation and dissemination of project findings. Represents project in professional circles through meetings,
∎ conferences and presentations when needed.
∎ Quality Assurance: Works with project team to ensure that best practices for services and service integration are well documented, evaluated and poised for scale up.
