A General Accounts Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Below is a clear breakdown of the requirements.
Maintain general ledger and accounts records
Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly financial reports
Handle accounts payable & receivable
Bank reconciliation
Manage VAT, TAX, and compliance
Assist in budgeting and forecasting
Support audits (internal & external)
Ensure financial accuracy and prevent errors
