Job Context:
∎ UBINIG is a policy research organization was founded in 1984. UBINIG invites applications from the qualified candidates for the following position of Accounts Officer. Accounts Officer, based in Dhaka with regular field visits, will be responsible for maintaining accounting and as per the guidance of the finance manager and Central Management Committee for managing accounts of the overall activities.
∎ Job Location: Will be posted in Dhaka with regular filed work in the project areas including Tangail, Pabna, Kushtia and Cox`sbazar.
∎ Joining Date: Expected to join by 01 October 2023

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare a monthly financial report;
∎ Should have sound knowledge of Cash and accrual Basis Accounting;
∎ Maintain and operate Cash book, ledger, stock register;
∎ Prepare income and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project;
∎ Check and record expenditure, voucher, requisition and cash/bank transactions & update ledger;
∎ Prepare monthly bank reconciliation;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Writing Financial Management report;
∎ Carry out banking works;
∎ Adequate knowledge of MS Office package (Word & Excel);
∎ Ability to work with audit team and to prepare financial report;
∎ Field work in all working areas and understanding of the project activities;

Salary: Negotiable

∎ Field visit cost as actual basis;
∎ Mobile bill.
