Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
∎ Sales Ledger Management: Oversee the sales ledger to ensure all sales transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
∎ Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with company records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
∎ VAT and Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT and tax returns in accordance with the National Board of Revenue (NBR) regulations.
∎ Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
∎ Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
