Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting/Finance
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Partly Qualified (CA/CMA/ACCA/ICMA) Candidates will get preference.
∎ Skills Required: VAT and Tax
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), VAT Tax Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Corporate and individual tax planning for future period and tax planning for finalization of assessment of Company's and Individual.
∎ Ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Ordinance an VAT Act.
∎ Preparation of annual Tax return and Tax audit for all business units.
∎ Maintain VAT Books (6.1, 6.2), Prepare monthly VAT return (9.1) & submit to VAT authority
∎ Prepare and maintain VAT 6.3
∎ Work on VAT 4.3 Input Output Co-efficient (Price declaration)
∎ Preparation of annual VAT returns and VAT audit for all business units.
∎ Ensure submission of Income Tax and VAT return in due time along with the required documents for all business units.
∎ Prepare and execute the individual tax files of all directors of the Company.
∎ Oversee employee-related Tax deduction, employee-related company tax returns submission/filing.
∎ Attend hearing before the DCT, Appellate Commissioner & Appellate Tribunal and ADR for finalization of assessment.
∎ Deliver a full range of tax and vat services in compliance with laws and regulations within the time frame.
∎ Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 with a view to reduce the disallowances.
∎ Manage tax provision and tax compliance process and coordinate tax audits with Tax authorities and Lawyers.
∎ Maintain tax & vat balances on general ledger.
∎ Monitor monthly TDS/VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer.
∎ Preparation & submission of information regarding payment of salary U/S-108, withholding tax return u/s 75A.
∎ All others type of RJSC related work.
∎ Monthly VAT Return preparation and submission
∎ Checking VAT Challan Provided by the Vendor. Comply TDS & VDS from payment and Issue TDS & VDS certificate.
∎ Handle and dealing all sorts of VAT matters of the Company.
∎ Any other Tax and VAT related task assigned by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceuticals, Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Group of Companies.
∎ Candidates should be smart, energetic & dynamic.
∎ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
