Job Context:
∎ Weekend: Saturday & Sunday
∎ Working Time: 9 am to 6 pm
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing portfolio of client accounts
∎ Bookkeeping for clients' monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts including but not limited to reconciling bank and cash balances as well as intercompany transactions
∎ Preparing of full set accounts, financial statements, including consolidation of companies' statements
∎ Prepare and filing of tax requirements
∎ Calculating of corporate tax and performing necessary filing
∎ Liaising with our Singapore accounting team on outstanding and disputed issues and to address client queries
∎ Liaising with external auditors for annual auditing via our Singapore office team
∎ Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
∎ Overseeing and ensuring quality, accuracy and compliance of work done by the local team within the stipulated deadlines
∎ Supervision, management and coaching of team members
∎ Any other management and corporate services
∎ Undertaking ad-hoc projects as and when assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6-8 years of proven experience as an accountant from an accounting firm that is affiliated with a Big 8 international accounting firm
∎ Good knowledge and experience with IFRS accounting standards and have completed hundreds of full set accounts for numerous clients
∎ Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
∎ Previous experience in a multinational company would be advantageous
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
∎ Excellent management and supervisory skills
∎ High attention to detail and accuracy
∎ Proficient in written and spoken English
