Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
∎ Month and end-year process
∎ Must have Knowledge of Accounting Software Quickbooks
∎ Accounts payable/receivable
∎ Cash receipts
∎ General ledger
∎ Treasury, budgeting
∎ Cash forecasting
∎ Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
∎ Capital assets reconciliations
∎ Fixed asset activity
∎ Debit activity
∎ Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
∎ Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
∎ Meet financial accounting objectives
∎ Tracking organization expenses
∎ Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
∎ Office Management: Ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day office functions.
∎ HR Support: Maintain employee records, assist in recruitment, and handle attendance tracking.
∎ Inventory Management: Oversee office supplies and procurement processes.
∎ Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
∎ Document Management: Manage and store both financial and non-financial documents securely.
∎ Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers for services, repairs, and procurement needs.
∎ Event Coordination: Organize meetings, events, and training sessions as required.
∎ Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
