Job Context:
∎ Arannayk Foundation (AF) is a not-for-profit organization devoted to forest and biodiversity conservation in Bangladesh since 2003. It has applied for a fund under the USAID Local Works Bangladesh Activities to undertake a project on conservation and rehabilitation of forests/tree cover in Ukhia, Cox`s Bazar, where massive deforestation and degradation of forests have taken place due to the influx of the forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals (Rohingya). The project will mainly focus on sustainable livelihood development of the affected poor people in the host communities through technical skills and market linkage development for diversified income generating activities and on capacity development of local institutions on forest conservation. The project is expected to start from April 2020 and its duration will be 3 (three) years.
∎ Duty Station: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Subject to the donor's approval of the proposed project, the AF intends to hire one 'Accounts & Admin Officer' for the same. The main tasks for this position would be, but not necessarily limited to, the following:
∎ Procurement and fund management including payment of staff salary and payments to suppliers, contractors, etc.
∎ Accounts management and book keeping
∎ Organizing logistic support for project implementation by the field team and that for visiting head office staff, consultants and visitors from donor agency and other collaborators
∎ Preparation of quarterly Planned Expenditure (Call Forward) and Financial Reports and timely submission to AF Secretariat
∎ Maintenance and inventory management of Project's assets
∎ Assisting community based organizations in the management and book keeping activities
∎ Perform any other task within the purview of the project plan as assigned by the Field Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Manager Finance and Admin or Project Director.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 03 (three) years relevant working experience.
∎ Advanced knowledge and skills in MS Excel software. Skills in the accounting software Tally ERP will be preferred.

Salary: Tk. 36000 - 40000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The gross monthly salary for the position will be within the range of Tk 36,000 - Tk 40,000. In addition, festival bonus will be provided which is equivalent to one month's salary per year.
