∎ Immediate Full-time Salaried Accountant position open for Dhaka Branch of an Accounting Firm in USA
∎ Hiring Male Candidates only at this time.
∎ Ferdous Sikder CPA, PLLC is a professional fast paced Multi-National Accounting Firm providing accounting and tax services in USA. We are looking for a qualified Accountant in Dhaka, Bangladesh to join our team.
∎ Job Location in Dhaka: East Rayer Bazar. West Dhanmondi, Dhaka 1209. This is an onsite position so please apply only if you live within 1-hour commute from our Dhaka office mentioned above.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create profit and loss statements for each company- monthly basis
∎ Create balance sheet statements for each company- monthly basis
∎ Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit cards - monthly basis
∎ Handle multiple bank accounts and credit card transactions on a regular basis
∎ Interparty transactions
∎ Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing
∎ Account analysis and reconciliation of general ledger
∎ Reconcile financial discrepancies
∎ Financial statement preparation and analysis
∎ Adjust journal entry on time to time basis
∎ Expense reporting and analysis
∎ Understand full cycle accounting
∎ Knowledge about accrual accounting
∎ Secure financial information by completing database backups daily
∎ Maintains confidentiality of clients and the company
∎ Maintains professional and technical knowledge
∎ Management of documentation for external reporting and maintaining relationships with the connected stakeholders
∎ Strong problem-solving skills
∎ Willingness to produce innovations in work process to facilitate effectiveness
∎ Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
∎ Any other duties assigned by Ferdous Sikder CPA
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 5+ Years of Accounting experience. Public Accounting Firm experience preferred.
∎ Fluency in English (speaking, writing, reading, office communication and e-mails).
∎ Experience in QuickBooks accounting software preferred.
∎ Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is must.
∎ Time Management skill in a fast-paced work environment.
∎ Demonstrate excellent organizational, oral and written communications skills.
∎ Ability to work under minimal supervision independently and as a remote team member.
Salary:
∎ Will be negotiated. Salary will include basic salary, house rent, fringe benefits, medical, transportation, and other allowances.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Bonus: There will be 2 festival bonuses.
∎ Lunch, snacks, filtered water - There will be free snacks, home-cooked free lunch, and safe filtered water daily onsite.
∎ Weekly day off: Saturday and Sunday off.
∎ Vacation: Will be discussed.
