Job Context:
∎ Job Location in Dhaka: East Rayer Bazar. West Dhanmondi, Dhaka 1209.
∎ This is an onsite position so please apply only if you live within 1-hour distance from our Dhaka office mentioned above.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheet monthly
∎ Bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
∎ Monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing
∎ Understand full cycle accounting
∎ Process weekly, Bi-weekly, Semi-monthly, and Monthly payroll
∎ Accurate data collection and follow-up from clients to make clients' books up to date
∎ Maintains confidentiality of financial information of clients and the company
∎ Maintains professional and technical knowledge
∎ Strong problem-solving skills
∎ Any other duties assigned by Ferdous Sikder CPA
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates must be very knowledgeable in Basic Accounting principles.
∎ Up to 3 years of accounting experience required. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
∎ Fluency in English (speaking, writing, reading, office communication and e-mails).
∎ Experience in QuickBooks preferred; Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is must.
∎ Ability to work under minimal supervision independently and as a remote team member.
Salary:
∎ Will be negotiated. Salary will include basic salary, house rent, fringe benefits, medical, transportation, and other allowances.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Bonus: There will be 2 festival bonuses.
∎ Lunch, snacks, filtered water - There will be free snacks, home-cooked free lunch, and safe filtered water daily onsite once Corona is over.
∎ Vacation: Will be discussed
∎ Weekly day off - Saturday and Sunday
