Educational Requirements:
∎ Applicants must have Master's in Accounting / Finance / Business or minimum business graduate along with CA (Application Level) or ACCA (Fundamental level) or any other accounting/finance professional degree.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all intercompany charges are coming through electronic service contract system and follow up with department managers in case of delay in approval process.
∎ Review manual service invoice sent by other affiliate companies and ensure those are related with Bangladesh operation.
∎ Ensure adequate supporting documents are submitted and obtain appropriate expenditure approval from service received department manager.
∎ Ensure the recognition of accruals through routine communications with the internal stakeholders, analyze the variances, prepare and enter journal entries at each month-end.
∎ Prepare monthly accounting accrual entry. Review quarterly accrual comparing with budget. Ensure yearly true-up entry is done and charges are within the budget.
∎ Follow-up intercompany payment process. Ensure all payments are done by 25th of each month. Prepare money receipt transaction for charge back receivables.
∎ Perform intercompany accounting reconciliation using corporate tool and follow-up suspense transactions with appropriate trace and escalations.
∎ Perform monthly financial closing of books of accounts through ERP system, analyze financial statements as well as monthly and quarterly reports and provide financial and business advice.
∎ Ensure SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act) compliance in accounting process.
∎ Actively participate in Risk Assessment including but not limited to SOX testing, Internal Audit, and other Internal Control investigations required by management.
∎ Design, develop and analyze various ad-hoc reports as required by senior management/headquarters to support different projects.
∎ Support external and internal audit team with detail data and supporting documents.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Applicant should have minimum 3-year(s) relevant working experience in a multinational Companies.
∎ Strong knowledge in accounting and finance, proficiency in MS Office, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Knowledge of accounting principles and standards, striving to understand business process risk and controls
∎ experience working with ERP systems (Preferably JD Edwards).
∎ Strong analytical and communication ability
∎ High level professional integrity
