As an Account Manager at Naria Travels & Tours, you`ll play a pivotal role in curating journeys that leave indelible impressions on our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping unforgettable travel memories and fostering a deep appreciation for the destinations they explore.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To excel in this role, you will be responsible for:
∎ Manage the financial aspects of the agency, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
∎ Monitor and reconcile transactions through the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) of IATA.
∎ Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
∎ Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.
∎ Track and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
∎ Liaise with banks and financial institutions for necessary financial transactions and services.
∎ Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.
∎ Ensure eligibility and compliance in all financial transactions and activities, maintaining accurate records throughout.
∎ Oversee and maintain comprehensive books of accounts, including Balance Sheet, Monthly Report, Quarterly Report, registers, and ledgers in accordance with established accounting standards and organizational policies.
∎ Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports, utilizing computer software and creating Financial Models as directed by management.
∎ Verify and ensure the accuracy of all transactions entered into the system, completing postings prior to month-end.
∎ Demonstrate proficiency in fundamental accounting standards, applying them to financial operations effectively.
∎ Perform Bank Reconciliation and diligently manage cheque registers to guarantee precise financial tracking.
∎ Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as specified by supervisory authority.
∎ Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration within the team.
∎ Utilize computer proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Office applications, accounting software, ERP systems, Payroll Software, and Tally Software.
∎ Oversee and maintain ERP software, particularly in Finance and Accounts for Service Sectors, while upholding Bank Reconciliation processes.
∎ Undertake additional ad hoc tasks delegated by superiors with diligence and precision.
∎ Display the ability to function effectively under pressure, ensuring accurate and timely financial deliverables.
∎ Uphold discipline and obedience in executing financial responsibilities, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
∎ Embrace challenges with a positive "can do" attitude, showcasing resilience and adaptability.
∎ Demonstrate the capacity to work extended hours when necessary, reflecting a commitment to achieving organizational objectives.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an Account Manager.
∎ To excel in this role, you will need:
∎ Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
∎ In-depth knowledge of the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) of IATA is essential.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team.
∎ Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Previous experience working with Manpower recruiting agencies is highly valued.
∎ Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English and Bangla.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Excel.
∎ Proficiency in Tally Accounting Software and knowledge of various Accounting/ERP based software is essential.
∎ Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Experience with Cost point software is a plus.
∎ Highly proactive, self-motivated, committed, and energetic in approaching tasks and responsibilities.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, along with analytical, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
∎ Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity in all professional dealings.
∎ Capable of working diligently under pressure, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in financial tasks.
∎ Exhibits a strong work ethic, demonstrating determination and dedication to achieving organizational goals.
∎ Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.
