• Masters

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in: Development Studies, Public Policy, Economics, or Business Administration with strong experience in water, environment, or infrastructure projects, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering (water/environment focus), Chemical Engineering (wastewater/environment focus), or other relevant fields.

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 6–10 years of experience in:

• Project management within water, environmental, infrastructure, or development sector programs
• Policy analysis, institutional coordination, and stakeholder engagement
• Water reuse, recycling, wastewater treatment, or circular economy initiatives
• Working with government agencies, development partners, or international organizations
• Proven expertise in water modeling tools and frameworks (e.g., WEAP, SWAT, MIKE, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of water governance, reuse/recycling technologies, and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to synthesize technical data into policy recommendations and white paper formats
• Familiarity with national water policies and donor-funded program structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla
• Experience in multi-stakeholder coordination, including ministries, NGOs, and donor agencies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
• Technical inputs to policy paper on water reuse and recycling potential in Bangladesh
• Policy briefs, modeling outputs, and strategic recommendations for institutional uptake
• Support for project reporting, donor communication, and workshop facilitation

Responsibilities & Context:

Project Background

Bangladesh Alliance for Water Reuse and Recycling (A4R) is a national initiative supported by the World Bank’s 2030 Water Resources Group and hosted at WARPO, Ministry of Water Resources. The program supports industrial water reuse and sustainable water management across key industrial clusters.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Oversee planning, coordination, and implementation of activities across industrial clusters.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the timely delivery of technical outputs, reports, and field activities.
• Supervise field investigations, data validation tasks, and cluster-level stakeholder engagements.
• Prepare progress reports, workshop materials, and presentations for ministries and development partners.
• Manage project documentation, timelines, procurement processes, and cross-team communication.

Job Duration: 6 Months (can be extended upon availability of fund)

Job Other Benifits:

Salary Range: 1,00,000/- per month (consolidated; negotiable)

Other Benefits: TA/DA for site visit
