Job Responsibilities:

∎ Lead and manage a team of video producers, editors, and other creative professionals.
∎ Set clear goals and objectives for the team.
∎ Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
∎ Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
∎ Content Strategy:
∎ Develop and implement a video content strategy aligned with the organization's goals and audience preferences.
∎ Stay updated on current events and trends to produce timely and relevant video content.
∎ Plan, schedule, and coordinate video production and distribution.
∎ Video Production:
∎ Oversee all aspects of video production, including storyboarding, shooting, and editing.
∎ Ensure high-quality video production that adheres to the organization's standards.
∎ Collaborate with reporters and editors to translate stories into engaging video content.
∎ Technical Skills:
∎ Have a strong understanding of video production tools and software.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements in video production.
∎ Troubleshoot technical issues and guide the team in using the latest equipment and software.
∎ Quality Control:
∎ Review and approve final video content for accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.
∎ Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms, including the website and social media.
∎ Analytics and Performance Tracking:
∎ Monitor the performance of video content through analytics and metrics.
∎ -Make data-driven decisions to improve engagement, viewership, and user feedback.
∎ Budget Management:
∎ Manage the video team's budget, including equipment, software, and personnel.
∎ Find cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
∎ Collaboration:
∎ Work closely with other departments, such as newsroom, marketing, and social media, to ensure a cohesive multimedia strategy.
∎ Coordinate with graphic designers and other creative professionals as needed.
∎ Training and Development:
∎ Identify training needs and provide opportunities for the team's professional growth.
