Video Editor & Motion Graphics Executive

About the Role

Edulance is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Motion Graphics Executive to join our in-house creative team in Uttara, Dhaka.

You will work on education content, event coverage, digital campaigns, promotional material, interviews and social media projects. The role is about turning raw footage and creative briefs into professional, engaging, high-quality video content.

We are looking for someone who can do more than cut footage. We want someone who understands storytelling, pacing, audience attention, visual presentation and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Reels, Shorts and other short-form social media videos

• Create promotional videos, teasers, trailers and campaign content

• Produce event highlights and professional aftermovies

• Edit interviews, testimonials, seminars and speaker content

• Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds and transitions

• Work with multi-camera footage when required

• Perform professional colour correction and basic colour grading

• Handle audio cleanup, synchronisation, music selection and sound design

• Add Bangla and English subtitles, captions and on-screen text

• Turn long-form footage into multiple short-form content pieces

• Maintain consistent brand identity across all video content

• Organise raw footage, project files and completed content properly

• Collaborate with the marketing, design and content teams

• Deliver time-sensitive content within required deadlines

Requirements

Software (essential):

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• Adobe After Effects

DaVinci Resolve knowledge will be considered an advantage.

Skills and understanding:

• Video storytelling and pacing

• Motion graphics and animation

• Short-form and social media content formats

• Sound design and audio balancing

• Colour correction and grading

• Typography and visual hierarchy, including Bangla typography

• Export settings and platform optimisation

• Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok formats

Working approach:

• Strong creative judgment and attention to detail

• Awareness of current video and social media trends

• Ability to make ordinary footage visually engaging

• Ability to work independently after receiving a brief

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable and consistent with delivery

• Willingness to learn and improve continuously

Experience

Previous professional experience in video editing is preferred, but portfolio quality, creativity and actual editing ability will carry more weight than academic qualifications or years of experience.

Talented candidates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply even without extensive corporate experience.

Equipment

Edulance provides a workstation (PC or Mac). Candidates who prefer to work on their own machine are welcome to bring it.

Portfolio Required

A portfolio or showreel is mandatory. Please share examples of your best work, particularly:

• Reels and short-form content

• Event highlights or aftermovies

• Promotional videos

• Motion graphics

• Interviews or corporate videos

Please submit only work that you personally edited. Make sure the link is publicly accessible and does not require a password. Applications without a relevant portfolio may not be considered.

Salary & Skill Level

Monthly salary: BDT 20,000 to 35,000

The final figure will depend on experience, portfolio, editing quality, motion graphics capability and overall creative skill.

The upper end of the range is intended for candidates with strong professional skills across Premiere Pro, After Effects, motion graphics, storytelling and sound design. Candidates whose skills are limited to basic cuts or CapCut-level editing should expect the lower end of the range.

We value demonstrated capability and portfolio quality over software familiarity alone.

Employment Terms

• Employment type: Full-Time, office-based at our Uttara office

• Working hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday off

• Observation period: 2 months

• Permanent confirmation: after 3 months, subject to performance

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview followed by a practical video editing assessment using footage provided by us.

The assessment is time-limited and may evaluate storytelling, editing quality, creativity, pacing, motion graphics, audio treatment, visual presentation and the ability to follow a creative brief. Candidates will be asked to submit the project file (.prproj or .aep) along with the exported video.
