Education:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
MBBS with postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.
BMDC and university regulatory compliance is mandatory.
At least 15 years of professional experience, including minimum 2 years as Principal, Vice Principal, or Professor in a medical college/health institute.

Responsibilities & Context:
Saic Group, a leading private sector education group in Bangladesh, operates several renowned medical and engineering institutions nationwide. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Vice-Principal for Saic College of Medical Science and Technology (SCMST), Dhaka.
The Vice Principal will be responsible for assisting the Principal in ensuring strategic leadership, academic excellence, faculty management, and administrative oversight. The role will focus on supporting smooth institutional operations, monitoring academic progress, and maintaining discipline across the college.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal in providing academic, strategic, and administrative leadership for the institution.
- Support the Principal in guiding and supervising faculty to ensure high-quality teaching, curriculum delivery, and student outcomes.
- Assist in overseeing course planning, class distribution, examinations, and admissions.
- Monitor teacher performance, discipline, lesson planning, and academic progress, and report to the Principal.
- Ensure partial compliance with BMDC and university regulations under the guidance of the Principal.
- Supervise maintenance of institutional registers, records, and reports as delegated by the Principal.
- Build and maintain effective engagement with students, guardians, and stakeholders in alignment with the Principal’s directions.
- Assist in upholding institutional discipline, ethics, and reputation.
- Organize and coordinate academic and extracurricular programs (science fairs, cultural activities, debates, etc.) as assigned by the Principal.
- Promote a supportive environment for research, diversity, equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the acting head of the institution in the absence of the Principal and take full responsibility for smooth operations.
- Perform any other assignments entrusted by the Principal or the Management.
