Responsibilities & Context:
1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Media, Multimedia, Animation, or a related field (preferred, but not always mandatory).
2. Possess a keen sense of social media trends and strong copywriting skills
3. Skilled in operating shooting and live streaming equipment
4. Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
5. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools.
6. Strong understanding of video editing techniques, transitions, color correction, audio syncing, and visual storytelling.
7. Knowledge of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolutions.
8. Basic skills in motion graphics, visual effects, and sound editing are an advantage.
9. Creativity and a strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
10. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
11. Good communication skills and ability to interpret client or team feedback.
12. A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing work.
13. Candidates with relevant experience are preferred (with past cases to provide)
