Job Responsibilities:
∎ Summary of Responsibilities: This position is Operational Head of Suchana-CNRS at Upazilla level and responsible for overseeing and coordinating Suchana operations and providing support to activities that are conducted in the Upazilla/Union Level. S/he will be responsible for helping assure achievement of union-level project implementation objectives, activities and targeted results for the Upazilla for which he/she is responsible. The Project/Upazilla Ciordinator will also play a lead role in managing communications and developing productive relationships between Suchana and partner staffs, local government officials, communities and beneficiaries, and other donors and projects operating in the Upazilla.
∎ Details Job Description / Responsibility:
∎ Leadership, supportive supervision and guidance to upazilla level planning, management, coordination and implementation of Suchana intervention
∎ Facilitate liaison and overall communication and coordination among centrally based Suchana technical specialists providing support to the four pillars of the project, and partners with staff based in the office;
∎ Facilitate, organize and moderate trainings, meeting, workshop and other events at upazilla level;
∎ Provide strategic leadership for work planning and setting of project targets, in an integrated and coherent manner;
∎ Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting of progress in project implementation and achievement of targeted results;
∎ Ensure quality control and timely submission of all deliverables for Upazilla- level project activities.
∎ Coordinate and supervise communication activities in the field level
∎ Build and maintain functional relationship with private service providers
∎ Ensure the efficient operation and delivery of office support-systems and services (e.g., office facilities, IT, transportation, etc.) required to conduct all Suchana activities executed in the Upazilla/Union level;
∎ Assure compliance with procurement, accounting, documentation and reporting according to Suchana/organizational policies and procedures
∎ Provide guidence to all staff based in the region, and ensure effective coordination and collaboration with other partner-hired staff based in that region
∎ Coordination (Internal and External)
∎ Establish effective networks with upazila level government departments, NGOs and other like-minded development organizations, and facilitate/re-activate existing coordination platforms to ensure effective delivery of programme interventions in a coordinated and coherent manner
∎ Represent Suchana team in monthly/quarterly NGO coordination meetings organized by govt stakeholders as and when required
∎ Participate Suchana district Team meeting and relevant other meeting/discussion as required
∎ Responsible for coordination and work closely with employer's financial management team to ensure timely financial and administrative support
∎ Reporting:
∎ Ensure data collection and entry in MIS apps
∎ Prepare and timely submission of reports of field implementation as and when required.

∎ Ensure safeguarding and gender equity in workplace
∎ Ready to work in any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in Bangladesh
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor from time to time

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years working experience relevant including 2 year on management and supervisory level in relevant field.
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Strong ability in working with GoB systems
∎ Strong ability in problem solving and decision making.
∎ Excellent in resource and people management
∎ Excellent skill on dealing with beneficiaries, local people and elites.
∎ Supportive supervision and motivation skill.
∎ Skill in documentation, facilitation & reporting.
∎ Excellent communications skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Ability to work under multi-sect oral / multi-disciplined team approach
∎ Having non-discriminatory and gender sensitive perception
∎ To protect children in connection
∎ Willingness and ability to drive motorcycle in the field as and when required and should have valid driving license
∎ Efficient computer literacy (especially MS Office applications)

Salary:
∎ BDT 43,990/month (inclusive all)
