Job Context:
∎ Project: Collective Responsibility, Action and Accountability for Improved Nutrition (CRAAIN) project supported by Concern Worldwide Bangladesh
∎ Assignment period: Three years
∎ Closing Date: 5 pm, Wednesday, 15 January 2020
∎ Working Station: Upazila level in Bagerhat district

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Upazila Coordinators will supervise the union facilitators of that particular sub-district.
∎ Initiate and ensure technical and management support in effective planning and proper implementation of the project activities
∎ Organize and conduct upazila/district level workshop with GO/NGO and training, orientation, campaign, gathering, day observance, exchange/exposure visit etc.;
∎ Overall responsible to implement the project activities at Upazila level;
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report both numeric & narrative, produce case study and success story and send to Project Coordinator;
∎ Provide professional and technical support to the Union Facilitators;
∎ Regular and frequent field visit to find out possibilities, identify problems, assess and follow-up activities being implemented and provide appropriate suggestion to field level staffs;
∎ awareness raising, networking, civic engagement, governance etc.;
∎ Monitor and evaluate project progress to reach the target within the life of the project;
∎ Coordinate regular planning, accountability and follow up of key performance indicators and overall quality assurance matters
∎ Coordinate and follow up external engagement, collaborations and advocacy matters
∎ Coordinating Upazila field office managements & logistics
∎ Track progress and make necessary adjustments periodically.
∎ Ensure team approach for planning and implementation of the project.
∎ Necessary & effective coordination with GO, NGOs, Ups, Donors and relevant stakeholders
∎ Prepare qualitative periodical report & documents of the project.
∎ Update project financial implication and have necessary approval.
∎ Ensure budgetary control and provide justification of budget variance
∎ Provide necessary guidance to field staffs on social accountability, gender, livelihood graduation activities and associated tools & techniques.
∎ Share the update project information and receive necessary feedback/suggestion to implement the project effectively.
∎ Initiate appropriate disciplinary measures as and when necessary
∎ Maintain necessary liaison at Upazila level with government line agencies and other related stakeholders in connection with project activities, information sharing and field implementation;
∎ Effective working relationships established with consortium partners, local partners and colleagues
∎ Establish and sustain working relationships with Government Departments and Agencies relevant to the Program's focus area
∎ Conduct staff appraisal and design necessary action plan for staff development and implement it accordingly;
∎ Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the senior management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Age will be relaxed in terms of highly qualified candidates.
∎ At least 2 years relevant work experience in any reputed development organization.
∎ Demonstrated experience of working with local level government structures to strengthen the capacity of the state to take ownership for and deliver services.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of successful project management, communication and training
∎ Self-motivated and results orientated.
∎ Excellent partnership skills and the ability to interact effectively with civil society, media, privet sector, collaborating agencies, local and government partners
∎ Positive attitude as development activities,
∎ Report writing capacity in English, Computer and communication skills.

Salary: Tk. 37000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Travel allowance: Actual.
