∎ ROLE PURPOSE:Union Supervisor (US) is the key field based staff of SDA-MNCH in Coastal Bangladeshproject.Primary responsibility is to supervise and roll out field base community health support initiatives community mobilization especially all women of reproductive age, pregnant mother and new-born child, adolescent girls and boys for ensuring essential health rights development and support services. Under his/her direct supervision and guidance, UP based FF, volunteers jointly enforcing health mobilization and supportive work with inclusive coverage in the UP health issues under direct supervision and guidance from Project Coordinator. (PC)

∎ Reports to:Project Coordinator(PC)
∎ Dotted line management:Project Coordinator of SDA-MNCH, RMNCAH Specialist and other key project team.
∎ Dimensions:80% of field visit required
∎ Staff directly reporting to this post: Field Facilitators & Volunteers
∎ Functional relationship:Manager-Operations of SDA- MNCH,Finance, Training,Admin& Logistics Officer
Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
∎ Take responsibility of respective UP as per plan developed
∎ Supervise Field Facilitators (FF) and Volunteers for effective program implementation with quality.
∎ Assist to Collecting existing data on water, sanitation, nutrition, health support services and facilities
∎ Assist to Survey for collecting village and UP ward level(Correct) data for project initiatives development
∎ Achieve targeted Quarterly/ monthly/ weekly activities with quality
∎ 6.Build good relation with respective UP, Ward, and village community without any prejudice or partisan issues
∎ Build better communication with HPA, Community Clinic, Union Health Centre and all other health support organizations and entities.
∎ 8.Assist and supervise to FF to conduct CYM and give instruction to pregnant women, new-born child, adolescent and youth for better health support and promotion
∎ 9. Assist to collect and compile all information of all pregnant mother and children and women of reproductive age category and submit to supervisor
∎ 10.Encourage community to establish health latrine and wash facilities
∎ 11. Support and supervise to implement village, ward and UP level health awareness program as well assist in UZ level program support and cooperation
∎ 12.Assist and supervise to develop community support group and make better communication with them
∎ Coordinate and assist to do joint work with UPs and allother health support organization (CC, UHC, clinic etc.)
∎ Always Sharing with community stakeholders and project teams to field findings a and receive feedback from management to implement quality program
∎ Organise and facilitate UP level meetings and ensure participation with coordination form LG and UP Health support stakeholders.
∎ Do field work as per instruction of project management team
∎ Prepare UP Level quality report, cross check and finalize and assist supervisor to make it final
∎ Do any other task assigned by Supervisor and SDA-Management.

∎ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
∎ ESSENTIAL
∎ Working Experience: At least 3years' experience in M&E/ MEAL and/or a related field, ideally with experience in MEAL/M&E of Health program/ project.
∎ Knowledge: Should have clear concept on developing MEAL/M&E system, implementation, data analysis, documentation and dissemination.
∎ Skills:
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English and Bengali
∎ Skilled in data management and analysis
∎ Should have ability to interpret data and report writing skills in English
∎ Should be proficient in computer operation, particularly, in MS-Excel, MS-Access, and MS-PowerPoint
∎ Problem solving and decision making,
