Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement transportation plans and policies to ensure efficient and safe transportation services for students, faculty members and staff.
∎ Oversee the management and maintenance of university-owned vehicles, ensuring they are in safe and operational condition.
∎ Procure, rent and replace vehicles as needed.
∎ Plan and optimize bus routes and schedules to minimize delays and ensure timely transportation for students, faculty members and staff.
∎ Ensure that transportation services comply with all relevant safety regulations and university policies.
∎ Implement safety protocols and training for drivers, helpers and passengers.
∎ Conduct regular safety inspections of vehicles.
∎ Collect and analyze transportation data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Implement feedback mechanisms to gather input from users and make improvements accordingly.
∎ Address and resolve transportation-related concerns and complaints from students, faculty members and staff.
∎ Utilize technology, such as GPS tracking systems, to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve overall efficiency.
∎ Supervise transportation staff of the university.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bengali & English
∎ Must be self-motivated, hardworking and flexible regarding work hours.
∎ Having good moral values.
