Educational Requirements:

Uttaran is a people-centered organization using a rights-based approach to alleviate poverty, diversify livelihood opportunities and empower poor communities of Bangladesh.
∎ Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled- Training Officer for the "Increased Resilience for Women through the Provision of WASH Services" Project.
∎ Job Title: Training Officer
∎ Reports to: Project Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
∎ A Training Officer will be responsible for the following tasks (Including but not limited to):
∎ Developing a comprehensive training manual on WASH activities and facilitation techniques for project staff and beneficiaries.
∎ Assessing the training needs, creating training materials, selecting appropriate training methods, delivering training sessions, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, and managing the training budget.
∎ Identifying and analyzing potential opportunities to improve women's access to and knowledge of WASH and hygiene, and developing strategies to address these issues.
∎ Developing a training agenda, strategy, and curriculum to address the diverse capacity-building needs of different stakeholders.
∎ Organizing and facilitating workshops, meetings, orientations, and discussion sessions for project participants and stakeholders.
∎ Assist and Contribute to collecting and analyzing monitoring data, and preparing reports.
∎ Assist and contribute to generating monthly and quarterly progress reports for the selected area of the region, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative information.
∎ Any other assignments of organizational management

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in working with NGO and private sector professionals in the WASH Sector
∎ Should be able to design and deliver effective training programs that meet the needs of different audiences
∎ Strong management skills, including the ability to provide strategic guidance, technical oversight, and mentorship to staff.
∎ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak and write fluently in English.
∎ Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant computer software.
∎ Employment Status: Contractual- Fixed Term Contract (9 Months)
