Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree from any relevant discipline. Academic degrees can be relaxed for a person with extensive Training Management experience, particularly with Livelihoods intervention in the Cox's Bazar region for both host and refugee communities.

Job Context:
∎ Project Brief: The organization is implementing a multi-year skills development project as part of a joint Initiative of a consortium in the refugee camps of Cox`s Bazar. The project aims to improve and sustain the natural environment in and around refugee camps in the Teknaf area of Cox`s Bazar district and create an enabling situation for communities to become self-empowered, thereby contributing to the area`s sustainable development.
∎ Job Statement: The key job responsibility of the Training Officer is to plan, organize and conduct all the required training programmes in the designated project areas for the economic inclusion of the beneficiaries as per the Project Partnership Agreement (PPA). He/she needs to ensure that the host and refugee communities have enhanced capacities attained through various training as stated below to generate income and support themselves and their families:

∎ Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)
∎ Consumption Diversity
∎ Food Processing and Preservation and
∎ Business Development/ Resilient Developer

Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. Programme Activities
∎ Training Officer is the key person responsible for planning, coordinating, conducting, and monitoring different training programs for the project beneficiaries at both camp and host levels. S/he will oversee and coordinate training operations and support project management to implement the activities at Upazila/Union level and in the refugee camps when required.
∎ Working closely with the Upazila Coordinator and Livelihoods Officer in providing training and technical assistance on climate innovative agricultural practices and other relevant areas. He/she will also need to identify income generation opportunities and support local enterprises' development.
∎ Plan and budget preparation for training programs in consultation with the Upazila Coordinator.
∎ Assist the Project Management in designing and developing the training Module, curriculum, and materials, such as manuals, handouts, and presentations in training sessions.
∎ Provide ToT to the Livelihoods Facilitators on the abovementioned subject, regularly observe their sessions, and provide feedback.
∎ Provide feedback and coaching to trainees to help them improve their performance.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to beneficiary groups/clusters as needed to understand the implementation status and identify further training needs.
∎ Submit regular training completion reports to the management.
∎ Accompaniment support to project management and donors during field visits and sharing of monitoring findings regularly.
∎ B. General
∎ Sharing monitoring results regularly and attending special meetings, notably at sub-district and camp level
∎ Assist the Project Manager as per his/her requirements.
∎ Participate in documentation/Case study/ any other study/research in the field level.
∎ Perform any other task as assigned by the programme/management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 04 years of professional experience, particularly in the relevant area.
∎ Knowledge of the Rohingya dialect is desirable, and experience in the Rohingya Camp Context will be preferred.
∎ Having non-discriminatory and gender-sensitive perceptions along with safeguarding
∎ To protect children in connection
∎ Good communication, facilitation, and motivational skills.
∎ Understanding of local culture and languages is preferable.
∎ Abilities to travel extensively to refugee camps/village/community level.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent computer literacy, especially MS applications
∎ Good hand in writing both narrative and quantitative Reports.
∎ Strong writing and communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Willing to drive a motorcycle and have a valid driving license.
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
∎ Excellent teamwork and a proven track record of building trust within and empowering teams
∎ Diplomacy, tact, and negotiating skills are essential
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and reporting skills in English and effective interpersonal and negotiation skills, proven through successful interactions with all levels of stakeholder groups.
