∎ Project Brief: The ‘JP Skills Development CXB-BC’ is a multi-year skills development project in the refugee camps of Cox`s Bazar. The project has a target to reach a total of 1,600 participants (50 percent women) for vocational skills training which will be selected across the camps considering the suitability, capacity and availability of home/community facilities for training. The target of 1,600 has been selected according to the prequalification requirements for the vocational training. The Project ultimately aims to assist refugees to acquire transferable and portable skills relevant to the labour market needs in Myanmar and the camp contexts, that would support sustainable return and integration (in Myanmar) when conditions permit; while enabling refugees to maintain hope for the future and have dignified and productive lives in the camps, including through engagement in multi-sectorial camp-based activities, minor livelihood activities, and community works, with the utilisation of acquired competencies. Accordingly, strategies will be geared towards enhancing skills development, economic and social empowerment, self-reliance of the Rohingya refugees pending durable solutions.
∎ Part I: Job Statement
∎ The Training Centre In-charge (TCiC) will be responsible for the successful implementation of JP Skills Development CXB-BC using 03 training centers in the refugee camps of Teknaf under the supervision of the Skills Development Coordinator (SDC). She will ensure timely implementation of the project works, following the humanitarian principles and sector guidelines and standard. The TCiC will guarantee proper monitoring and data collection to develop high quality reports and documents to be shared with his/her line manager and UNHCR respectively. She will need to take on challenges to ensure a rapid, effective and timely response, holding overall responsibility of the designated training centers in the refugee camps for project’s achievements and results.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Activities
∎ Managing overall activities of the 03 training centers to be established in 03 refugee camps.
∎ Perform daily activities and organize the training center with required logistics.
∎ Assist the Vocational Training Specialist (VTS) to implement Technical Vocational Training Module, Manual, Ensure apprenticeship with the help of related stakeholders for the vocational skill development program
∎ Support the team - Vocational Training Officer (VTO), Assistant Instructor (AI) and Vocational Supervisor (VS) to conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions.
∎ Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.
∎ Prepare monitoring tools according to the project indicators.
∎ Oversee the overall Finance, Accounts and Budget/PR associated with specific training center activities in consultation with the Skills Development Coordinator (SDC).
∎ Maintain the compliance rules in line with the organizational policy & keeping the responsible area neat, clean and in hygienic condition.
∎ Maintaining a very effective communication with the corresponding camp management (CiC office) and ensure timely coordination for regular updates.
∎ Reporting Activities
∎ Support both SDC and VTS on providing monthly report, progress and achievement
∎ Assist SDC in preparing Detailed Implementation Plan and Procurement Plan
∎ General
∎ Assist project implementation team in conducting regular/monthly and need based meetings
∎ Regularly update the senior management on project progress and challenges in the field and ensure their timely solutions.
∎ Ensure logistics and security to the project’s staff as per organization’s policies and procedures in coordination with Logistics department.
∎ Create congenial/friendly working environment for all staff members and ensure appropriate learning culture adhering to all safeguarding issues.
∎ Attend training/orientation as and when asked by the organization/ project management and participate in meetings, workshops and other events organized by other stakeholders and represent the project
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities when assigned by the organization/ project management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 03 years of professional experience
∎ Demonstrated experience in Beneficiaries Management/ Livelihoods/Vocational Training/Life Skill Training Project Implementation.
∎ Experience in the Rohingya Camp Context will be preferred.
∎ Knowledge of Rohingya dialect is desirable
∎ Skills:
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
∎ Willingness and ability to work in hardship environments
∎ Excellent teamwork, and a proven track record of building trust within and empowering teams
∎ Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills are essential
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and reporting skills in English and effective interpersonal and negotiation skills, proven through successful interactions with all levels of stakeholder groups.

Salary:
∎ BDT 70,000/month (inclusive all)
