Job Context:
∎ JAGO NARI is working in the development sector since 1998 for women empowerment and reduces inequality at coastal districts of Bangladesh. JAGO NARI is seeking a Training and Capacity building officer for Right 2 Grow (R2G) project Funded by Action Contre la Faim (ACF). This position will be Project Period.
∎ Job Location: Taltoli Upazila under Barguna District.
∎ Project Duration: 50 Month.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure preparation of Project Training Plan (PTP) for Skill Development & Capacity Building.
∎ Ensure that the monthly training schedule prepared for all the staffs under the area of operation and activities are done as per schedule.
∎ Monitor the progress of planed activities to ensure that the activities are done in a qualitative and quantitative way within the stipulated time frame.
∎ Ensure proper planning, designing, organizing and facilitation of the training/orientation/discussion sessions, meetings, workshops, seminars etc. at the Union, Upazila and District level.
∎ Ensure visibility of the donors and other partner organizations as applicable.
∎ Ensure preparation of the budget for the Training
∎ Control over expenses through Budget Expenditure Summary (BES).
∎ Submit monthly, Quarterly and yearly report to the Program Coordinator on the progress and achievements; also report on weak points and suggested remedies.
∎ Undertake staff development training as part of the related project activities and undertake orientation, discussion sessions etc. to address the staff development needs thereby ensuring effective implementation of the project activities.
∎ Plan and implement staff performance appraisal as staff development mechanism.
∎ Ensure that the staffs are well aware of the gender policy, child protection policy, human rights, and governance issues and following those in dealing with the colleagues and project partners including the project participants.
∎ Ensure that an enabling environment is prevailing at the work place and staffs are working well enjoying equal opportunities irrespective of male and female.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age At most 40 year(s) but it should be relaxed for experienced candidate.
∎ Minimum of 3 years experiences at development sector as Same Position.
∎ Experience in implementing, designing and guiding the implementation of the project activities and training in the rural areas;
∎ Experienced in developing project implementation strategy, guidelines and management tools;
∎ Experienced in presenting project status in the high-level meeting and workshop with the donors;
∎ Innovative, dynamic, hardworking and have good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team;
∎ Experienced in communication, liaison and collaborating with the GO/NGO officials;
∎ Have knowledge about training budget preparation, monitoring of expenses, report preparation at the different stage of the project;
∎ Good communication skill in English and Bengali; good knowledge on staff supervision, mentoring, coaching and development;
∎ Good skills in computer operation especially with MS-Word, power point and spread sheet, internet and email applications;
∎ Willing to work in pressure situation and interested to implement project at the remote areas of Bangladesh.
Salary:
∎ 35000/=(Thirty Five Thousand) Taka Monthly.
