Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor (B.A, B.S.S, B.com, B.Sc) or Diploma in Textile Technology with concentration on RMG (Sewing Machine Operation) from any recognised university/ institution with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Make proper arrangement for session plans (in accordance with CBT methodology)
∎ Prepare CBLM (Competency Based Learning Management) for each unit of Competency
∎ Ensure adequate training facilities
∎ Plan and organize institutional activities
∎ Ensure the arrangement of necessary training equipment
∎ Ensure trainees progress chart is installed in the workshop
∎ Post occupational health and safety signage, rules and regulations
∎ Record books for learners convenience
∎ Maintain all stock register.
∎ Develop training package that includes duration of training, daily contact our both theoretical and practical, numbers of batch and batch size, session plan, trainees' handout, CBLMs and other administrative requirement as training record etc.
∎ Deliver CBT (Competency Based Training)
∎ Institutional assessment must be provided at the completion of each competency
∎ Certification of completion must be provided to the learner upon completion of all the competencies required
∎ Conduct orientation/induction program to stimulate learners, to identify training facilities and support are available and to inform regarding the rules and regulations
∎ Appraise performance of the teaching staff, no-teaching staff and students
∎ Coordinate and develop network with different institute activities and industries
∎ Prepare candidate for summative assessment for recognition of their learning
∎ Prepare all promotional materials
∎ Provide support to WPI unit for ensuring job placement for trainees
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years' experience in Technical Education Institute in sewing machine operation training or RMG related training in RMG factory.
∎ Preference will be given to the candidates having prior work experience in providing training, experience in cutting & sewing, CBT&A Level - 4 training, operation of Single Needle Lock Stitch Machine (Auto and Manual), Single Needle Chain Stitch Machine, Double Needle Lock Stitch Machine, Double Needle Chain Stitch Machine, Four Thread Overclock Machine (Auto) Six Thread Overclock Machine (Auto), Top and Bottom covering chain stitch Machine (Flatbed and Cylinder bed Lock), Cloth cutting Machine and others SMO related machine.
