Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary:
The Territory Manager / Area Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding dealer networks, and strengthening the company’s market presence within the assigned region. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in radial tyre sales, excellent dealer relationship management skills, and a proven track record in territory business growth.
Responsibility & Context:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for tyres (especially radial segment).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new dealers in potential markets.
- Monitor dealer performance, credit control, and ensure timely payment collection.
- Execute marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure proper product placement and brand representation.
- Coordinate with the supply chain, logistics, and marketing teams for smooth operations.
- Prepare sales forecasts, territory performance reports, and MIS updates.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain high standards of professionalism.
